DK Metcalf Ready To Go For Week 12
1 year agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (toe) returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the previous two days while tending to an issue with his toe. Metcalf was able to practice in full and will not carry an injury designation into Seattle's Thanksgiving Day game against the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers have a stout defense but have shown a weakness to the pass, having allowed an opponent's WR1 to reach 100 yards on five occasions (as well as a 96-yard day to Marquise Brown in Week 4). The 49ers also just lost starting safety Talanoa Hufanga (knee) to an ACL tear and he is expected to be replaced by rookie Ji'Ayir Brown. Metcalf, whose 16 red zone targets are tied for third-most in the league, is in a good position to add another touchdown to his season total on Thursday night and should be good for a WR2 finish in Week 12.
