The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, November 22.
Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks
Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day as other props may be added during the day.
Damian Lillard OVER 2.5 Turnovers - It's been an easygoing three-game stretch for Damian Lillard. The Milwaukee Bucks guard averaged only a single turnover in the previously mentioned period. However, as the Bucks prepare for a hostile battle against the formidable Boston Celtics, expect a sudden change of scenery for Lillard. Coming into Wednesday evening, Boston sits with the third-ranked defensive rating.
Although the Celtics have an efficient defense, causing turnovers ironically doesn't occur frequently as they rank 28th in opponents coughing up the ball. Don't find too much comfort in Lillard's lack of turnovers his past three performances; Milwaukee hasn't faced an adequate defensive unit since the Toronto Raptors (seventh-ranked defensive rating) on November 15, and Lillard lost the ball on four occasions versus such a defense. Lillard will struggle versus Boston's lengthy lineup, ultimately leading me to believe he'll hit over the 2.5 turnover line.
Joel Embiid UNDER 29.5 Points - Betting the under on the reigning MVP seems like a bad idea. Hear me out, though. On a second night on a back-to-back sequence, going from Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley to Rudy Gobert is a rough transition for almost anyone. Of the two back-to-back schedules in which Joel Embiid participated, he's 1-1 on the point prop. Expecting another grand performance from Embiid against the league's best defensive-rated Minnesota Timberwolves, in these conditions, no less, is not only unfair but also unlikely. Push the under on Embiid's 29.5 points prop.
Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 4.5 Assists - For the past two seasons, Giannis Antetokounmpo terrorized the Celtics by scoring 172 points in six regular season contests, averaging 28 points. However, unlike the previous two seasons, Milwaukee has an elite shooter and overall scorer in Lillard. As Boston and Milwaukee face each other for the first time this season, no tape suggests whether Joe Muzzula will force Antetokounmpo as a creator or finisher.
baffling to me how people can watch giannis antetokounmpo and think he isn't highly skilled pic.twitter.com/oyaj4iyvx5

However, as previously stated, Antetokounmpo can and will dominate the Celtics in light of the aforementioned 28 points averaged, in addition to his 30 points scored in the paint per game on the season thus far. Ultimately, forcing Antetokounmpo to create on the fly rather than crash the paint provides Boston's elite defense ample opportunities to apply pressure to Milwaukee's perimeter players. Look for Antetokounmpo to cover the over 4.5 assists prop.
Dillon Brooks OVER 10.5 Points - I typically avoid any prop bets regarding Dillon Brooks, as he's failed miserably to cash checks his mouth writes. However, in a revenge game versus the Memphis Grizzlies, with Brooks' new team, the Houston Rockets, hosting, taking the over on a 10.5-point prop makes for the last temptation. Furthermore, the Grizzlies stink, as they have five injuries to rotation players in addition to Ja Morant's suspension.

I suggest making a mental block of any Brooks action if he can't get the job done against such a down-and-out roster.
