Julio Jones Draws Two Targets In Win Over Kansas City
1 year agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Julio Jones caught both of his targets for a gain of five yards during the team's 21-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran receiver was expected to be more involved due to the absence of tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm), but the harsh weather impacted the Eagles' passing attack too much for Jones to overcome in this matchup. The important note to take away from this game was the amount of three and four wide receiver sets Philadelphia used against the Chiefs. With Goedert out, the team is electing to put Jones and Olamide Zaccheaus out there more often rather than Jack Stoll and the remaining tight ends. The veteran receiver is likely not an option for most fantasy managers moving forward, but he should be more involved in the passing attack down the stretch, especially when the weather is more favorable for the passing attack. Jones will get a chance to show what he has left in the tank next week against the Buffalo Bills.
