Tyjae Spears Used Sparingly In Blowout Loss To Jacksonville
1 year agoTennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears carried the ball four times for 14 yards and added two catches for 12 yards in the team's 34-14 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Starting running back Derrick Henry only picked up 11 touches of his own in this contest. The Titans, under the direction of rookie quarterback Will Levis, were unable to string together successful drives. Thus, they only possessed the ball for 23 minutes of the game clock. By the time they put together their first touchdown drive, the score was 27-0. The offense is regressing after the hot start Levis had in his first couple of professional appearances. Henry and DeAndre Hopkins will be the only Titans in the starting conversation when they host the Carolina Panthers in Week 12.
