Deebo Samuel With 63 Yards Receiving In Win
1 year agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel had a decent day despite getting few looks in Sunday's 27-14 defeat of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The fifth-year man out of South Carolina caught three of four targets for 63 yards and took a single carry for minus-one yard. The highlight of Samuel's day was a 40-yard reception in which he was left wide-open in busted zone coverage on an extended play. It's been something of a disappointing season so far, even for fantasy managers who took Samuel knowing his volume would be volatile. He hasn't had more than four targets since a Week 3 explosion of 12 with Brandon Aiyuk sidelined. Though to be fair, he did miss the better part of three games with a shoulder injury. Samuel and the 49ers' offense will take on a mediocre Seahawks pass and run defense in Seattle on Thanksgiving night.
