Tommy DeVito Sparks New York's Offense, Throws Three Touchdowns
1 year agoNew York Giants quarterback Tommy Devito threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns in the team's 31-19 win over the Washington Commanders. DeVito ignited a New York offense that had been lying dormant for the majority of the season. Two of his touchdown passes went to running back Saquon Barkley, while the third was caught by wide receiver Darius Slayton. The undrafted rookie now has five touchdown passes in his first two career starts. He'll get at least one more start against New England next week, and then the Giants will decide if he or Tyrod Taylor (ribs) will start, assuming the latter is healthy. DeVito will be on the Superflex radar next week, although he's still not an exciting option.
