BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has had an up-and-down rookie season. He is the WR54 for the year, averaging 6.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. However, the former Ohio State star has played better lately after scoring fewer than 6.9 fantasy points in his first five contests.
The rookie is the WR20 over the past four weeks, averaging 10.5 fantasy points per game. Smith-Njigba has scored at least 9.3 fantasy points in three of those contests. He has seen an increase in work after the slow start. The wide receiver has had seven or more targets in two of the past four games after having six or fewer in the first five matchups. Furthermore, the rookie has two receiving touchdowns over the past four weeks.
Meanwhile, Smith-Njigba faces the Los Angeles Rams in Week 11. The Rams have held wide receivers to 25.1 fantasy points per game, slightly below the league average. However, they have struggled against high-powered offenses. Los Angeles gave up 240 receiving yards, three touchdowns, and 52.5 fantasy points to the Dallas Cowboys wide receivers a few weeks ago. Smith-Njigba is a solid WR3.
