1 year agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (hamstring) is questionable for Thursday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. The 26-year-old wideout got in a limited practice on Tuesday but was listed as DNP on Wednesday, which is rarely a good sign. Duvernay has just 33 total yards on seven offensive touches this season as he's mostly just contributed on special teams. If he were to miss Thursday's contest, it would have little to no fantasy impact.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller

1 month agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars released two-time Pro Bowl return man/wide receiver Devin Duvernay on Thursday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The Jaguars were busy on Thursday clearing salary cap space for the 2025 season, as they traded receiver Christian Kirk to the division-rival Houston Texans and also released tight end Evan Engram. The 27-year-old Duvernay was much more valuable to Jacksonville as a kick returner in 2024, racking up 351 yards on kickoffs and 167 yards on punt returns while also chipping in 11 receptions for 79 yards and no touchdowns in 13 games played. The former third-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in 2020 out of Texas had 94 catches on 131 targets for 898 yards and five touchdowns in his four years with Baltimore. Wherever he lands in free agency, he'll once again primarily be a kick returner.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

5 months agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars opened the 21-day practice window for wide receiver/kick returner Devin Duvernay (lower body) on Wednesday as he looks to return from Injured Reserve. Duvernay returned five kickoffs for 100 yards and seven punts for 81 yards in five games for the team this year before getting hurt and placed on IR on Oct. 9. The 27-year-old former third-round selection by the Baltimore Ravens in 2020 out of Texas only has one reception on his lone target for minus-one yard this year and should remain on the waiver wire in all leagues, even after the Jaguars officially activate him from IR. Duvernay will be eligible to return this weekend to face the Minnesota Vikings, but it remains to be seen if the Jaguars feel that he's ready to do so.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

6 months agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Devin Duvernay (lower body) could be in danger of missing the Week 6 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Duvernay suffered a lower body injury during Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts. The former third-round pick played a big role during this Week 5 win. Duvernay had a 53-yard punt return that set up running back Tank Bigsby for a big third quarter touchdown. Head coach Doug Pederson reportedly seemed concerned about Duvernay's status heading into their matchup with the Bears. The assumption is that wide receiver Parker Washington could be asked to fill in at punt return duties if Duvernay is unable to play. The absence of Duvernay won't have much of an impact for fantasy purposes with him serving mostly as depth, but he's still important to this roster.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

1 year agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (back) is officially active for Saturday's game against the Houston Texans. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction after the Ravens activated him from injured reserve. Over 13 games during the regular season, Duvernay amassed just four receptions for 18 total yards. He primarily contributed on special teams, returning 23 punts and nine kickoffs. He should continue to be avoided by fantasy managers and bettors ahead of the Divisional Round.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
