Lamar Jackson Upset With Deep-Ball Struggles
1 year agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is upset with his inability to connect on the deep ball of late. In the last three games, Jackson is 1-for-8 on throws that go 20-plus yards downfield. "I'm pissed off about it, to be honest with you," Jackson said. "I watched the game, and it's like it might be a difference in the game if we connect with that one." His 70.3% completion rate is tied for second in the NFL this year, but he ranks 24th in the league with a 32.4% completion rate on passes of 20 yards or longer. The 26-year-old hasn't completed a touchdown pass on a throw of 20 yards or more. Jackson is looking to bounce back on Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals after three straight games with less than 20 fantasy points while throwing two TDs and two interceptions and also not scoring a rushing touchdown.
