Geno Smith Passes For Season-High 369 Yards
1 year agoAfter spending much of the first half of the season mired in mediocrity, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith needed to make good on the gimme he had in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders. Facing one of the league's worst pass defenses at home, Smith went 31-for-47 for 369 passing yards and two touchdowns and added 13 yards on his one run of the game. It was also the first time since Seattle's Week 5 bye that Smith avoided committing a turnover. The bounce-back performance couldn't have come at a better time, as the 29-26 victory kept Seattle tied with the San Francisco 49ers at the top of the NFC West. Faithful fantasy managers and Seahawks fans alike will hope for more of the same in Week 11 when Seattle faces the Los Angeles Rams. In the season opener, the Rams held Smith to 112 passing yards and limited the Seahawks' time of possession to just 20 minutes.
