Bengals Hopeful That Ja'Marr Chase Can Play
1 year agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (back) will be a game-time decision in Week 10, but the team is "hopeful" that he can play, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Fantasy managers should expect official word on his status around 11:30 a.m. EST on Sunday. Even if Chase is active, he could have reduced snaps or operate as a decoy. Therefore, expectations should be tempered in fantasy football where he may rank as more of a high-floor WR2. On the other hand, if Chase can't suit up, the Bengals will deploy Tyler Boyd as their top receiver (with Tee Higgins also inactive). In such a scenario, Boyd would rank as a low-end WR2.
