1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell collected his first win in his second career start against the New York Giants last week. O'Connell completed 16 of 25 passes for 209 yards and no interceptions. With O'Connell at the helm, the ceiling for the Raiders offense is higher than it was with Jimmy Garoppolo. The Giants proved an easy matchup for the rookie quarterback, but their next opponent may not be so forgiving. The Raiders take on the New York Jets this week. The Jets have allowed the second-fewest passing yards and third-fewest yards per attempt this season. In a game where moving the ball through the air could be challenging, the Raiders could lean on Josh Jacobs and the run game to stay in the game. While the Raiders new-look offense offers fantasy managers and fans some hope for the team's future, O'Connell could struggle this week.
