Toronto Maple Leafs center John Tavares helped to set up a pair of goals in Wednesday's 6-3 defeat to Ottawa. He had a power-play assist early in the game when William Nylander scored and collected an even-strength helper on Tyler Bertuzzi's third tally of the year. Tavares ended a mini-slump with the effort, as he had finished three consecutive games without a point before Wednesday's action. The recent bad run of form will have disappointed fantasy managers, but Tavares's overall start to the campaign has been solid, with the Maple Leafs captain having collected 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in 13 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
