The Miami Dolphins boast one of the league's best offenses, ranking second in rush success rate and third in drop-back success rate. Although they are primarily a pass-first team, running backs this season have thrived in their offense, especially in terms of fantasy production. Raheem Mostert is averaging almost 19 PPR points per game, and rookie De'Von Achane averaged over 25 PPR points per game over four games.
With Achane (knee) still on IR, many might believe there's an opportunity for another running back to excel in this offense. Jeff Wilson Jr. is the third man in the running back room, and he finished as an RB10 or better twice in this offense last year. The talent and familiarity are there for Wilson, but does he have the opportunity?

What Did Jeff Wilson Jr. Do Last Week?
In the Dolphins' loss to the Chiefs in Germany, Wilson played only 17% of the snaps. During those snaps, he had just two rushing attempts for six yards and contributed three catches on four targets for 32 yards. Mostert, on the other hand, did not have any receiving opportunities, and Salvon Ahmed managed just two catches for eight yards.
This 27-year-old running back has had only seven carries this season in three games, gaining a total of 29 yards. Most of his involvement comes in the passing game, with six targets in the last two games. Wilson has been quite efficient as a receiver, but his limited number of touches has prevented him from gaining fantasy relevance.
Jeff Wilson Jr. Waiver Wire Outlook for Week 10
The Dolphins are anticipating Achane's return in Week 11 following the team's bye. The rookie has been utilized both in the running and passing game, and he's expected to share duties with the veteran Mostert, who has been the starter throughout the year. Wilson is likely to see a reduced role and may find it challenging to get touches.
Mostert's involvement in the passing game has significantly decreased over the last couple of weeks, possibly because he's taken on the primary rushing role. If Achane and Mostert end up sharing the rushing responsibilities, there could be an opportunity for Wilson to excel in the passing game. However, at the moment, Wilson lacks a consistent path to getting touches.
