How in the world is it November already? We are more than halfway through the greatest 50 days of the year for any football fan. October 8 marked day one of 50 consecutive days of either FBS or NFL football. What a time to be alive! The ESPN money may have destroyed the Pac-12, but it also gave us this.
It's November, so that means it's time for some more MACtion. We open in Kent with Bowling Green coming to town to battle for the Anniversary Award. We have Akron in Miami to take on the Redhawks. We end this in Toledo with Eastern Michigan visiting.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/8/23, locking at 7 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

College Football Betting Picks for November 8
I don't have the full odds article done yet, so we are just going to do this here. That's what Wednesday games do to me. You know the drill!
Akron at Miami (OH) (-17.5)
Betting Confidence Factor: 2
The Redhawks aren't built to cover lines like this. Give me Akron.
Bowling Green (-9.5) at Kent State
Betting Confidence Factor: 3
The Falcons struggled against Ball State's defense. Fortunately for them, Kent doesn't have much of a defense. Give me the Falcons.
Eastern Michigan at Toledo (-17.5)
Betting Confidence Factor: 3
Ugh...that looks high. But it's not. This is Eastern Michigan we're talking about. Give me Toledo, but I'm lowering the bet thanks to that hook.
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Aveon Smith, Miami (OH) ($6,800)
Smith did a nice job against Ohio in the Battle Of The Bricks in his first start this year. With Brett Gabbert again done for the season, we're going to see an awful lot of Aveon Smith here. Smith is a decent passer and a good runner. That gives him a ton of upside against a team like Akron.
Connor Bazelak, Bowling Green ($6,000)
The former Missouri and Indiana quarterback was supposed to lead the Falcons to new heights this year. While they have played well, you can't blame all of that on Bazelak. He has lost his job a couple of times to Camden Orth and the two usually split time. Bazelak has outplayed Orth of late and led the Falcons to a win over Ball State last week. That should earn him the start and a longer leash this week.
Also consider: Dequan Finn, Toledo ($8,300)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Peny Boone, Toledo ($7,200)
Some guy named Roman Hemby was blocking Boone at Maryland, so the "Baby Bus" loaded up and headed for MACtion. We're glad he did. Boone has at least 20 DraftKings points in three of the last four games. EMU has no prayer of slowing him down.
Rashad Amos, Miami (OH) ($6,100)
Amos had a career game in the Battle Of The Bricks with 163 rushing yards and a touchdown. That touchdown was the fifth time he has scored on the ground in the last six games. The Redhawks are going to lean on the ground game a little more with Gabbert out and the matchup doesn't get any better than this one against Akron.
Also consider: Terion Stewart, Bowling Green ($7,000); Lorenzo Lingard, Akron ($6,900)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Gage Larvadain, Miami (OH) ($5,600)
Akron's strength is pass defense, especially on receivers. Aveon Smith won't throw as much as Gabbert either, but Larvadain was still heavily targeted (as much as one can be when his team has 11 pass attempts in the entire game). His upside is capped by Smith's limitations in the passing game, but the price is right to take a flier on Larvadain.
Daniel George, Akron ($5,500)
Jeff Undercuffler looks more comfortable under center. A big reason for that is his rapport with George. George hauled in nine passes for 104 yards last week after seven catches and 74 yards against Bowling Green in Week 8. I trust this new development to continue in a game where Akron should trail early and have to throw to try and keep up.
Harold Fannin, Bowling Green ($4,600)
Fannin has caught a touchdown from Connor Bazelak in each of the last two games. There seems to be something going on here, so I'm buying in against the worst pass defense on the entire slate.
Also consider: Jerjuan Newton, Toledo ($7,100); Tanner Knue, Eastern Michigan ($4,800); Luke Floriea, Kent State
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Bowling Green
Now that the Falcons are seemingly backing Connor Bazelak (again), I like the stack here. Keep a close eye on Terion Stewart. If he plays, he's a must-start. If not, Ta'Ron Keith is an excellent backup. Fannin is the receiver you want, but Odieu Hiliare has the highest upside.
Also consider: Miami (OH), Toledo
