Tank Dell Week 10 Waiver Wire Outlook
The rookie wide receiver had struggled over his past few games. Dell had seven receptions on 11 targets for 89 receiving yards and zero touchdowns over his previous three contests. However, the former Houston star was unbelievable in Houston’s 39-37 comeback victory in Week 9.
Dell had six receptions on 11 targets for 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, including the game-winner with six seconds left. The rookie was the WR1 for Week 9 heading into Monday Night Football, scoring 26.6 half-point PPR fantasy points.
Should I Pickup Tank Dell in Week 10?
Yesterday, C.J. Stroud had 470 passing yards and five touchdowns in the win over the Buccaneers. Houston had four players total at least 60 receiving yards and a touchdown, with Dell being the only one to find the end zone twice.
While Nico Collins remains the No. 1 wide receiver for the Texans, the rookie is closing the gap. He has averaged 12.3 fantasy points per game this season. However, Dell has averaged 22.1 fantasy points per game in the three contests with over four targets.
The former Houston Cougar is available in 44.3% of ESPN leagues. Fantasy players should make Dell their top waiver wire claim this week. The Texans have a fantasy-friendly schedule in the second half of the year.
More importantly, they face the Tennessee Titans twice during the fantasy playoffs. Tennessee has struggled to slow down opposing wide receivers this season. They could be a league-winning matchup for fantasy players with Dell on their roster.
