Jalen Hurts Injury Update

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (knee) seemingly aggravated his knee ailment on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys but did not miss a snap. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Hurts has been managing a knee bruise and sporting a brace on gamedays.

The MVP candidate did not divulge exactly what's been bothering him but did note that the Eagles' bye week is coming at a great time. Hurts still racked up 243 yards through the air and on the ground, while adding three touchdowns. The Eagles will head to Kansas City for a Super Bowl rematch in Week 11.

Daniel Jones Injury Update

Update: Daniel Jones has officially been diagnosed with a torn ACL ending his season:

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (knee) is believed to have suffered a torn ACL during Sunday's meeting with the Las Vegas Raiders. The oft-injured signal-caller, who returned for this one after being sidelined for weeks with a neck issue, didn't last long before going down with a non-contact injury. He could be done for the season, assuming an upcoming MRI confirms the diagnosis, especially since the Giants aren't looking like a postseason team.

As a result, Tommy Devito, who was 15-for-20 passing for 175 yards, a touchdown, and two picks in Week 9, is in line to start moving ahead. However, with Tyrod Taylor (ribs) on injured reserve, the Giants may look to bring someone in from the outside.

T.J. Hockenson Injury Update

Update: The Vikings are hopeful that Hockenson will be able to play in Week 10:

Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson (oblique, ribs) was injured during Sunday's win over the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Kevin O'Connell said the 26-year-old is dealing with an oblique or rib issue, although he didn't elaborate further. The Vikings were already down Kirk Cousins (Achilles) and Justin Jefferson (hamstring) heading into this one, with Cam Akers (Achilles) potentially suffering a season-ending Achilles tear.

Fantasy managers should monitor this situation before the Week 10 meeting with the New Orleans Saints, especially since Hockenson is expected to remain a featured target for whoever is under center. But considering K.J. Osborn (concussion) and Brandon Powell (cramps) are also dealing with issues, it's hard to tell who will be available to step up if Hockenson misses time moving ahead.

Cam Akers Injury Update

Update: Cam Akers has officially been diagnosed with a torn Achilles ending his season:

Minnesota Vikings running back Cam Akers (Achilles) is feared to have torn his Achilles during Week 9 versus the Atlanta Falcons, according to head coach Kevin O'Connell. He exited during the second half and was quickly ruled out, finishing the game with 25 rushing and 13 receiving yards. This is a tough break for the former Rams running back, who has now torn his Achilles twice through four seasons in the NFL.

It's also bad news for the Vikings, who have struggled to stay healthy on offense. For the time being, Alexander Mattison will continue to lead the Minnesota backfield, while Ty Chandler backs him up.

Dallas Goedert Injury Update

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) suffered a fractured forearm in Week 9 and will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine if there is any further damage. Goedert is set to miss time and is an injured reserve candidate, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Goedert went down during the third quarter of Sunday's eventual 28-23 win over the division-rival Dallas Cowboys while he was stiff-arming his way to extra yardage on a catch-and-run. The Eagles have a Week 10 bye on tap but losing their 28-year-old standout tight end for extended time is a significant blow to their high-powered offense.

We'll have to wait on Monday's MRI results for a clearer return timetable, but fantasy managers should be planning other arrangements for Week 11's Super Bowl rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs. Jack Stoll and Albert Okwuegbunam are some names next in line for Philadelphia behind Goedert, but neither of which are likely to offer immediate streaming viability.

K.J. Osborn Injury Update

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn (head) suffered a concussion during Sunday's narrow win over the Atlanta Falcons. The 26-year-old, who ranks fourth on the team in catches and receiving yards, took a nasty shot in the first half. He was down for a few minutes before eventually being taken off the field on a cart. Although Minnesota earned a victory, it's certainly not an ideal scenario, considering the team was already without Kirk Cousins (Achilles) and Justin Jefferson (hamstring).

Even worse, there is fear Cam Akers (Achilles) is done for the year. At any rate, if Osborne can't play in Week 10 against the Saints, it should mean more targets for T.J. Hockenson and Jordan Addison. At the same time, Brandon Powell would draw interest from fantasy managers looking for an option off waivers.
