Before the NBA takes a break for Election Day on Tuesday, there are 12 games for us to enjoy Monday. With such a busy schedule, there are also some great matchups. Some of the more notable ones include the Heat facing the Lakers, the Knicks hosting the Clippers, and the Celtics traveling to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves.
The downside to this packed schedule is that there are a lot of notable injuries. Players who have already been ruled out include Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (knee), Jamal Murray (hamstring), De’Aaron Fox (ankle), and CJ McCollum (chest). Players listed as questionable include RJ Barrett (knee), Markelle Fultz (knee), and Daniel Gafford (ankle).
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/6/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 pm EST.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Tyrese Haliburton, IND vs. SA – PG ($9,400 DK; $9,800 FD)
Haliburton is coming off a 43-point performance against the Hornets on Saturday in which he shot 14-for-21 from the field. Just as impressive is that he still had 12 assists in that game. He has a double-double in all five games that he has played, leaving him with averages of 24.2 points and 12.4 assists. With both of these teams ranked inside the top-10 in the league in pace of play, Haliburton should receive plenty of opportunities to stuff the stat sheet again.
Tyrese Maxey, PHI vs. WAS – PG ($8,300 DK; $8,600 FD)
Maxey is currently averaging career highs in points (26.2), rebounds (5.2), and assists (6.6) per game. He has remained efficient in his expanded role, shooting 48.9 percent from the field and 93.1 percent from the charity stripe. The Wizards have played at the fastest pace and have the second-worst defensive rating in the league. Don’t expect them to be able to slow down Maxey.
Dyson Daniels, NO at DEN – PG/SG ($4,400 DK; $4,400 FD)
After averaging just 18 minutes per game during his rookie season, Daniels has logged 23 minutes per game this season. He showed his upside a couple of games ago versus the Pistons, recording 10 points, seven rebounds, and six assists over 25 minutes. Now that CJ McCollum (chest) is out, Daniels could even play upwards of 30 minutes in this game. That makes him difficult to pass up at such a cheap salary on both sites.
Others to consider: Fred VanVleet, HOU vs. SAC – PG ($7,500 DK; $8,100 FD); Malik Monk, SAC at HOU – PG/SG ($5,700 DK, $5,500 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Zion Williamson, NO at DEN – PF/C ($8,800 DK; $8,000 FD)
The Pelicans are going to need Williamson to also step up with McCollum out. Not only will they need him to score more, but he could also be asked to facilitate more for his teammates. He has proven to be a very good passer, including last season with he averaged 4.6 assists per game. Expect Williamson to have a high floor in this matchup.
Kelly Oubre Jr., PHI vs. WAS – SF/SG ($6,000 DK; $6,100 FD)
Oubre has proven to be a great offseason addition for the 76ers. Now that James Harden is gone, he is locked in as one of their leading scorers. He has been up to the task through their first five games, averaging 21.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.6 three-pointers per game. With how poorly the Wizards have performed on the defensive end, Oubre is another member of the 76ers to strongly consider.
Luguentz Dort, OKC vs. ATK – SF/SG ($5,600 DK; $5,600 FD)
Dort started off the season slowly, scoring 10 or fewer points in four of his first five games. Part of the problem was that he didn’t attempt more than eight shots in any of those four matchups. With Gilgeous-Alexander out Friday against the Warriors, Dort scored 29 points on 12 shot attempts. He’s not one to shy away from added shot attempts, so with Gilgeous-Alexander out again, Dort carries increased upside.
Others to consider: Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL at BKN – PF/C ($10,600 DK; $10,300 FD); Tobias Harris, PHI vs. WAS – SF/PF ($6,800 DK; $7,200 FD)
DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Joel Embiid, PHI vs. WAS – C ($11,200; $12,000 FD)
Most teams are not equipped to defend Embiid, but especially the Wizards. Their best center is Gafford, who has been in and out of the lineup with his ankle injury. Behind him is Mike Muscala, who is more of a stretch-five with his three-point shooting. Embiid has a 36.4 percent usage rate, putting him on pace to have a usage rate of at least 35.3 percent for the fourth straight season. The only thing that could potentially slow down Embiid is if the 76ers race out to a big lead early, it could mean Embiid spends significant time on the bench in the fourth quarter.
Nikola Vucevic, CHI vs. UTA – C ($7,500 DK; $7,900 FD)
Vucevic has averaged at least 17.6 points and 10.9 rebounds in each of the last five seasons. He continues to churn out double-doubles this season, producing four of them over seven games. He narrowly missed a fifth when he had nine rebounds in a game versus the Thunder. Playing alongside Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan doesn’t leave Vucevic with the same scoring upside that Embiid has, but Vucevic is one of the more reliable mid-tied center options.
Goga Bitadze, ORL vs. DAL ($4,700 DK; $4,800 FD)
In their first game without Wendell Carter Jr. (finger), the Magic gave Bitadze the start at center. He took advantage of his opportunity, recording 10 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks versus the Lakers. The presence of Moritz Wagner should prevent Bitadze from playing over 30 minutes on a regular basis, but at his cheap salaries, he still has a large enough role to be worth targeting.
Others to consider: Alperen Sengun, HOU vs. SAC - C ($8,000 DK; $8,100 FD), Moritz Wagner, ORL vs. DAL – PF/C ($5,100 DK; $5,100 FD)
