Tommy DeVito Ineffective In Replacement Duty
1 year agoNew York Giants quarterback Tommy Devito completed 15 of his 20 attempts for 175 yards and a touchdown after replacing Daniel Jones (knee) in the first half. Jones suffered the injury on the final play of the first quarter and then went out for good after the first play of the second frame. The undrafted rookie then tossed two interceptions and only led the Giants on one scoring drive. With Tyrod Taylor (ribs) already on injured reserve and Jones possibly suffering a significant injury, the Giants will need to bring in another quarterback. DeVito is not the answer if the team wishes to win any more games this season. Veteran Matt Barkley is also a part of the team. Until we see someone else leading this offense, it's best to avoid every Giant not named Saquon Barkley in fantasy football.
