Josh Jacobs Puts Up Dominant Performance In Win
1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs had one of his best games of the season, rushing for 98 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 9 win against the New York Giants. Jacobs' rushing yardage was his second-most of the year, but he was not involved in the passing game. With Raiders rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell starting, the offense looked better than it had all season. After targeting Jacobs 11 times in his Week 4 start, O'Connell did not target Jacobs a single time in this contest. With that said, Jacobs had a good game and should continue to do well moving forward. The Raiders running back has a Week 10 matchup with the New York Jets, who have given up the eighth-most rushing yards this season. Due to the strength of the Jets secondary, most teams choose to attack them on the ground. The lack of involvement in the passing game is a bit concerning for Jacobs, but the Raiders were leading for the entire game. After the Raiders cleaned house, fantasy managers should feel confident starting Jacobs as a low-end RB1 weekly.
