What do Amon-Ra St. Brown, Ja'Marr Chase, CeeDee Lamb, and Davante Adams have in common? They've all been outscored in fantasy football by fifth-round rookie Puka Nacua.
The story of the season was finally dethroned as the NFL's target leader following Week 8 but still remains in second place with 89. Matthew Stafford has looked his way often in his inaugural season.
The wideout has been dealing with a knee issue and there are several other questions surrounding the Rams' offense in Week 9.

Is Puka Nacua Playing in Week 9?
Puka Nacua was a limited participant in all three of the Rams' practices this week. The ailment popped up during the week, as Nacua had no problems finishing the Week 8 contest against the Cowboys. Despite the questionable tag, the rookie sensation will play.
He'll slot right back into his role as a 30%+ target hog for Los Angeles. Both Nacua and Cooper Kupp are in that category and remain nearly the entirety of the Rams' passing offense.
Puka Nacua Fantasy Football Injury Outlook
While Nacua may be active, quarterback Matthew Stafford suffered a UCL sprain on the thumb of his throwing hand and will miss Sunday's game. 27-year-old Brett Rypien will get the start. He essentially played a quarter of football against Dallas. Puka Nacua only saw Rypien's second attempt, which went for 13 yards.
Nacua's 753 air yards ranks sixth among all wide receivers in the league. Backup quarterbacks typically don't take those shots as often as the starters. While Nacua could still be heavily involved, a downfield shot could be a rare occurrence.
With a backup quarterback under center, Sean McVay could opt to lean on Darrell Henderson Jr. and Royce Freeman to move the chains. The Green Bay defense allows 132 rushing yards per game and remains relatively strong against the passing game.
Nacua is a low-end WR2 in our RotoBaller staff rankings this week.
