1 year agoChristopher Bell had a lot of expectations heading into qualifying at Phoenix Raceway. In the end, Bell and his Joe Gibbs Racing car ended up 13th. Among the Championship four cars, Bell is third with Blaney two spots behind the No. 20 driver. The Toyota was a bit of a mixed bag as far as speed. There was good acceleration but Bell was a little loose in the turns. It is not impossible for Bell to get to the front. However, control around the dogleg will be big along with great pit stops. Bell does have four top-ten results in his last seven appearances at Phoenix. He will need all that late-run speed and some luck on Sunday to contend for his first NASCAR title.. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
