Zach Charbonnet Still A Bench Stash In Week 9
1 year agoSeattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet overtook Kenneth Walker III (calf) in snap percentage in Week 8, being on the field for 31 plays to Walker's 24. It was Charbonnet's most productive game of his young career, and he finished the day with a season-high 53 rushing yards and another 11 yards through the air. This owed mostly to the fact that Walker was nursing an injury and is unlikely to represent a changing of the guard. In Week 9, the Seahawks are up against the stout defense of the Baltimore Ravens making it an unlikely spot for Charbonnet to do damage. The rookie is a valuable bench stash though, as he has flashed potential in his limited chances and it is possible that Seattle starts to lean on him more to keep Walker healthy as the season hits the midway point.
