We are almost halfway through the 50 best days of the year for any football fan. October 8 marked day one of 50 consecutive days of either FBS or NFL football. What a time to be alive! For all of the evil things the Mouse does, one thing that is right about all of this is ESPN gobbling up the TV rights to Conference USA, the Fun Belt, and the MAC. The ESPN money may have destroyed the Pac-12, but it also gave us this.
We are back up to four Power Five teams on Thursday. We had MACtion this week. Welcome to November! We begin in Lubbock with TCU heading west to take on the Red Radiers. Next up is Wake heading to Durham to take on Duke. We close this out in South Alabama with the Jaguars heading over to Troy from Mobile to take on the Trojans.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/2/23, locking at 7:00 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Behren Morton, Texas Tech ($6,500)
It looks like Morton will start against TCU tonight. I wouldn't think Tech would use Jake Strong in packages. When Morton started, he played the entire game unless he got hurt. I expect a nice game from Morton against a reeling TCU defense in this one.
Gunnar Watson, Troy ($5,500)
Watson usually isn't a prolific passer, but he hoisted a career-high 40 passes in San Marcos last week. It added another dimension to the Troy offense. If Watson can continue to throw like that, Troy's offense is going to be like a T-Rex with one of those tools to grab items off the top shelf; unstoppable!
Also consider: Josh Hoover, TCU ($8,100); Desmond Trotter, South Alabama ($6,000; if Carter Bradley is out)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Tahj Brooks, Texas Tech ($7,400)
While there are still undertones of the air raid there in Lubbock, this team isn't committed to throwing the ball all the time. A true air-raid runs the ball a lot more than Mike Leach versions did. Brooks has at least 98 rushing yards in six straight games now. He has scored five touchdowns in the last four games and is still taking time to haul in a few free points in receptions. Brooks does it all and did when Morton was in there as well. Expect a huge game out of Tahj tonight.
Jordan Waters, Duke ($6,400)
The stout defenses of Florida State and Louisville locked down the Duke offense. We should see Waters heavily involved in this game as Duke looks to keep Riley Leonard from putting too much strain on that ankle. That's going to mean less rushes for Leonard and more for the backs. Waters should get back on track in this one.
Also consider: Emani Bailey, TCU ($7,700); La'Damian Webb, South Alabama ($7,000)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Caullin Lacy, South Alabama ($7,300)
Lacy has had seven consecutive games with over 100 yards. Only Tulane in the opener held him under that. The status of Carter Bradley really doesn't worry me. Desmond Trotter was a very capable quarterback before he lost his job to Bradley before last year. Lacy is getting his 100 yards. That's a hell of a floor!
Myles Price, Texas Tech ($5,600)
Whenever a guy is this happy to have his quarterback returning, I pay attention. This is bound to see more targets heading for Price.
Price hauled in 15 receptions in the two full games that Morton started. His price doesn't reflect the increased targets that should be coming his way.
Jabre Barber, Troy ($4,400)
Here's your free space for the night. Barber has 14 receptions for 298 yards and a touchdown in the last two games alone. South Alabama's run defense has been good, so I see a lot of volume for Watson and Barber again tonight. Barber could be in line for another huge game.
Also consider: John Paul Richardson, TCU ($6,700); Jahmal Banks, Wake Forest ($6,500); Jamaal Pritchett, South Alabama ($5,400)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Texas Tech
I have serious questions about the TCU defense and the game against K-State did nothing to alleviate those concerns. I like the way this offense runs with Behren Morton in there. Morton/Tahj/Price are my main targets, but I can make a case for adding a guy like Xavier White or Jerand Bradley as well. There should be plenty of receptions to go around.
Also consider: Troy, Duke
