Derrick Henry Draws Favorable Matchup On Thursday Night
1 year agoTennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has had a few down weeks this season, but he still ranks fifth in the NFL with 75.1 rushing yards per game (minimum five games) through eight weeks. He's also added 15 receptions for 138 yards. In Week 9, he draws a favorable matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football. Mike Tomlin's defense has surrendered the eighth-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. They have given up seven total touchdowns to running backs and have allowed four running backs to go over 100 scrimmage yards. With rookie Will Levis making his second NFL start, expect Tennessee to feed the former rushing champion in this AFC clash, especially if DeAndre Hopkins (toe) is unavailable. Although Henry was on the injury report this week with an ankle injury, he appears to be fine and is a must-start option to begin the Week 9 slate.
