Will Levis Has Contingent Upside Against Steelers
1 year agoTennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis will make his second career start against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9. Ryan Tannehill (ankle) has been ruled out for the Thursday Night contest. Levis is set to face a league-average passing defense that has allowed 263.4 passing yards per game this season, but he might have to do it without DeAndre Hopkins (toe), who is questionable with a toe injury. The rookie signal-caller threw three of his four touchdown passes to Hopkins last week, so if Hopkins is out, his ceiling and floor will likely take a big hit. Although Levis clearly has plenty of upside if Hopkins plays, a primetime road test against TJ Watt and the Steelers pass rush could be a tough spot for the young gunslinger. To make matters worse, starting right tackle Chris Hubbard (concussion) is out for this game. Levis should likely be benched in single-QB formats.
