Daniel Jones Practicing Without Limitations
1 year agoNew York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) is practicing on Wednesday without any limitations and is good to go heading into a Week 9 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Jones has missed the last three games but was cleared for contact on Sunday and is trending toward making his return in Week 9. Backup Tyrod Taylor (ribs) also suffered a rib injury in the Week 8 overtime loss to the New York Jets that sent him to the hospital for the night. The 26-year-old Jones hasn't looked great this year, but he should be an upgrade over Taylor now that he's moving past his neck injury. The G-Men have a good matchup against the Raiders defense this week, but Jones coming off injury should be considered a midrange QB2, at best, if he's active. UPDATE: The Giants officially listed Jones as limited on Wednesday.
