Los Angeles Kings forward Quinton Byfield grabbed two assists as the team rolled past Toronto 4-1 on Tuesday. He had a power-play assist on Arthur Kaliyev's second goal of the season and helped Adrian Kempe to grab his third of the year in an even-strength situation. Byfield has slowly started to figure out life in a first-line role, bagging five points across the past four games. He had only one point in his first five appearances this season. The 21-year-old is still far from being a must-have player in fantasy hockey, but his stock is on the rise, and Byfield should be able to produce plenty more offense on a team that's averaging a league-high 4.33 goals per game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings center Quinton Byfield (upper body) exited Monday's contest early due to an upper-body injury. The team did not provide an update on his status after the contest. However, fantasy managers should expect the team to monitor Byfield's workload heading into the Stanley Cup Playoffs, as they have already clinched the No. 2 seed in the Pacific Division. Before exiting the game, Byfield would score his 23rd goal of the campaign on the power-play in just over 14 minutes of ice time. This was his fourth-straight game finding the back of the net. Over his last eight games, Byfield has tallied 10 points, with four of them coming on the power play. If cleared to return in the playoffs, he would be viewed as a strong play in DFS competitions.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings forward Quinton Byfield recorded his fourth three-point game of the season on Saturday, finishing a 5-4 victory against the Colorado Avalanche with a goal and two assists. Byfield started the scoring for L.A. before helping Kevin Fiala and Alex Laferriere on the score sheet, with his first assist coming during a power-play situation. The former second-overall pick became the eighth player in franchise history to reach 50 career goals before turning 23. Of these goals, 22 have come this season from Byfield, who has established himself as one of the Kings' top forwards. He has managed 53 points in 79 games and is finishing the season on a high note, having scored in three consecutive games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings center Quinton Byfield tallied two points for his second-straight contest on Sunday evening against the Boston Bruins. In the second period, Byfield would add the secondary assist on Drew Doughty's third goal of the campaign. Later in the third, Byfield would find the back of the net on a wrist shot during even-strength play. Byfield is currently riding a two-game goal-scoring streak. Over his previous 10 contests, Byfield has been one of the most productive forwards in the league, as he has found the back of the net eight times over this stretch. During this 10-game span, he has also added two helpers and logged 21 shots on goal with 16 hits. Through 69 games this season, Byfield has scored 19 goals and is just one away from matching his previous career high. The 22-year-old remains a strong play in DFS as he continues this productive stretch.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings center Quinton Byfield found the back of the net for the sixth-straight time on Saturday evening during their victory over the Nashville Predators. Byfield would be the lone goal scorer in this contest. He would find the back of the net on a wrist shot during overtime to power Los Angeles to the victory. The former second overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft has now scored at least one goal in each of his past six contests. During this stretch, the 22-year-old has found the back of the net six times with one of them coming during 4-on-5 play. During this stretch, he has tallied 13 shots on goal and held a strong +5 rating. Through 65 games this season, Byfield has found the back of the net 17 times and added 23 helpers. He remains a solid option in all standard formats while he continues this impressive stretch.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
