Derrick Henry Injury Update
Henry (ankle) was limited during the Titans' walkthrough estimates on Monday and Tuesday. While it's always concerning to see a player on the injury report, Henry should be able to play on Thursday Night Football. He's a mid-to-low RB1 for fantasy purposes.
David Montgomery Injury Update
Montgomery (ribs) missed yet another game in Week 8, giving way to a huge performance from rookie Jahmyr Gibbs. The Lions' Week 9 bye will give Montgomery ample time to recover before Detroit begins to prepare for the Chargers. It will be interesting to see which player commands more attention on the other side of the bye week.
Tyjae Spears Injury Update
Spears (ankle) upgraded to a full participant on Tuesday and will be active for Week 9 against the Steelers, barring an unforeseen setback. He should operate in a complementary role as Derrick Henry (ankle) continues to handle lead-back duties. Spears is an RB4 in fantasy football.
Anthony McFarland Injury Update
McFarland (knee) upgraded to a full participant on Tuesday. He is trending towards being active in Week 9 but lacks fantasy appeal in his role behind Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren.
Kenny McIntosh Injury Update
McIntosh (knee) had a chance to return in Week 8, but the Seahawks chose to hold him out of at least one more game. The rookie could make his NFL debut this coming Sunday in a depth role behind Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet. Given his minimal fantasy value, McIntosh belongs on waivers in every redraft and most dynasty leagues.
