Happy Tuesday, and Happy Halloween, RotoBallers! Tonight we've got a spooky little 3 game slate, with the national TV double-header on TNT as a headliner. These articles focus on the overall best plays, which are typically more suited for cash games. However, some exceptions may apply, depending on the size of the slate.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 10/31/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Paul George - SG/SF, LAC vs ORL ($8,600 DK, $9,000 FD)
By now, you've heard the news that James Harden is a Clipper. While this will make the Clippers a tougher fantasy environment moving forward, tonight the entire slate will revolve around what Clippers you choose to roster. Most lineups project to have at least one of PG-13 and Kawhi, due to how thin the Clippers will be tonight. George has 42+ fantasy points in all 3 games the Clippers have played this season, and in my opinion, he's the safest choice and feels like a perfect fit for cash games.
On This Day, Paul George Did This:
35 PTS
9 REB
8 AST
6 STL (!!)
2 BLK

Jalen Suggs - PG/SG, ORL @ LAC ($4,800 DK, $4,700 FD)
Coming off back-to-back 31-point fantasy games, I like Suggs' spot tonight against the Clippers. The Clippers are extremely thin at guard tonight as a fallout of the Harden trade, which makes all of the Orlando backcourt members interesting in their own right, but saving $600-800 by picking Suggs helps further enable the stars and scrubs build that appears to be the most popular build path tonight.
Bones Hyland - PG/SG, LAC vs ORL ($4,300 DK, $4,800 FD)
Hyland stands out as the clear value option on the Clippers tonight. No matter how thin the Clippers' roster is, George and Leonard simply won't play all the minutes so early into the season, which should give Hyland plenty of chances to get shots up.
Others to consider: Russell Westbrook ($7,100 DK, $7,600 FD), Donovan Mitchell (if healthy) ($9,700 DK, $10,600 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Kevin Durant - PF, PHX vs SAS ($10,500 DK, $11,000 FD)
This one is as straightforward as it gets: no Devin Booker and no Bradley Beal means more of alpha KD. Durant was practically a free space before the Clippers made their trade, and I still think he's a must-play in cash games.
Kawhi Leonard - SF/PF, LAC vs ORL ($8,500 DK, $8,700 FD)
When it comes to Kawhi as a fantasy asset, the question is never about talent or ability, but always volume and availability. The Clippers have shown a propensity to take it easy on Leonard and his reoccurring knee issues, in hopes of having him fresh for later on in the season. But as a result of the Harden trade, the Clippers are looking at only having 8-9 active players tonight. Unless this game gets out of hand quickly, I would expect Kawhi to play more than the 31 minutes per game he's averaging so far this season.
Max Strus - SG/SF, CLE vs NYK ($5,800 DK, $6,100 FD)
Strus is a solid play regardless of Donovan Mitchell's status tonight, but if Mitchell is ruled out again, Strus becomes a borderline must-play. He's playing nearly 40 minutes per game and already has two monstrous fantasy games under his belt this year, one of which came with Mitchell active. Strus produces across nearly every fantasy category, so he should provide a solid floor regardless of who else is active, with the potential for a massive ceiling.

Others to consider: Julius Randle ($8,000 DK, $8,500 FD), Dean Wade ($3,600 DK, $4,400 FD)
DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Evan Mobley - C, CLE vs NYK ($8,100 DK, $8,100 FD)
Mobley has been an absolute beast defensively to start the season. He's recorded multiple blocks in all 3 games and has posted 14+ rebounds in 2 straight games. With Jarrett Allen yet to play this season still, and looking unlikely for tonight, Mobley is the Cavs' lone true big man on the roster. If Donovan Mitchell plays, there's a hit to his ceiling (he probably won't score 33 points as he did on Saturday vs the Pacers), but his floor is one of the best on the slate.
Mason Plumlee - C, LAC vs ORL ($4,900 DK, $4,200 FD)
This price doesn't exactly scream value, especially when you look at Plumlee's body of work this year. However, with the Clippers' already thin roster, and the fact that Ivica Zubac missed yesterday's practice and is questionable for tonight means that Plumlee could end up getting a start. It almost feels like DraftKings knew this trade was coming because they increased Plumlee's price by $1,400 after he only scored 13 fantasy points on Sunday. This is definitely one of the more gross plays you'll see recommended this year, but the stars could align.
Others to consider: Jusuf Nurkic ($6,700 DK, $7,000 FD)
