1 year agoChicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney has been struggling to produce in the early part of 2023, and that trend continued on Sunday night. While he started the game with a 41-yard reception, that was his only catch in the Bears' 30-13 loss to the Chargers. He had four targets but failed to get anything going after his initial big play. Despite Justin Fields' (thumb) absence, Mooney has been facing challenges this year, regardless of who's at quarterback. Fields may return next week, potentially increasing Mooney's value, but until he experiences a breakout performance, he remains an unattractive fantasy option. The Saints are a middle-of-the-pack team against wide receivers this season, but Mooney's lackluster performances suggest he's best suited for bench roles.--Tony Camino - RotoBaller
