Welcome to our Sleeper NBA DFS prop picks for Monday, October 30th. Last Friday we went with the under on both Ausar Thompson and Ziaire Williams, following the Prop-timizer to our avail and we are taking our shot at redemption to start the week. Both Williams and Thompson’s prop lines haven’t been adjusted for how well they are playing and every game is validating their incredibly hot starts.
Sleeper offers some of the best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games in the industry. Sleeper DFS works just like regular player prop betting -- there are no large-field tournaments to get lost in. You're not playing against other people; you're just playing against the projections. Here are some of our favorite NBA prop picks for Monday’s 11-game slate.
Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.
NBA DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Monday, October 30th
Ausar Thompson OVER 11.5 Rebounds+Assists
The revamped Pistons are embracing defense unlike most young teams and that is opening up the door for us as prop bettors. There seems to be a lot of competition for rebounds among the Detroit frontcourt, so including assists here when it’s clear Thompson will contribute in both categories offers some security.
His first game he posted seven rebounds, three assists and has since pulled down 12 rebounds in consecutive games. Grabbing double-digit rebounds as a guard is one thing, doing it two games in a row is usually the start of something that Vegas will have to adjust for.
Ziaire Williams OVER 5.5 Rebounds
Last year Ziaire Williams was good for an under bet somewhere in his stat column. This year is totally different. He’s playing with an unrivaled intensity and until Steven Adams can return and offer some toughness to this rotation, Williams is going to continue to act as this sparkplug-rebounding hybrid wing that is looking to create in isolation.
Since he is only needing six rebounds and is currently averaging just below eight, it’s clear Vegas isn’t buying into Williams just yet. Usually it takes a week or so for lines to adjust, but it’s hard to see this low of a line for someone who is currently one of two Grizzlies dominating that category.
Note: We are taking the OVER despite the oh-so wise, great Prop-timizer saying otherwise.
John Collins OVER 6.5 Rebounds
All three players are among the league leaders in rebounding, but only John Collins is on a three-game double-double streak. Playing alongside Walker Kessler and Lauri Markkanen hasn’t hindered his rebounding whatsoever and his rebound-based lines should increase before the next game.
The Jazz struggling across the board despite having a talented roster is giving players like Collins the exposure needed to easily put up the stats we need to crush prop lines. This might be the kiss of death, but until these players give a reason that they won’t produce, the small sample size we’ve seen is extremely promising.
Note: We are taking the OVER despite the oh-so wise, great Prop-timizer saying otherwise.
