1 year agoOn Saturday afternoon, A.J. Allmendinger qualified P25 for Sunday's Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway. To say that October has been a good month for the 16-year Cup veteran is an understatement. Not only did he win at the Charlotte Roval earlier in the month, but just last week he finished fifth at Homestead, making him one of the hottest drivers in the series in recent weeks. While it is hard to ignore The Dinger's performance as of late, we also cannot ignore his history at Martinsville. In his three starts at this track in the Next Gen car, the No. 16 has an average finish of just 24.6, with an average DraftKings score of 17.6.
