The bulk of the Week 7 NFL slate is nearly over, meaning fantasy players must make some last-minute start ‘em and sit ‘em decisions. K.J. Osborn, Alexander Mattison, and Jauan Jennings have been solid for fantasy players in 2023.
Osborn faces a talented San Francisco 49ers pass defense. Meanwhile, Mattison takes on an elite-run unit. Lastly, Jennings will get the start for an injured Deebo Samuel.

Should I Start K.J. Osborn For Fantasy Football?
Osborn is the WR53 for the year, averaging seven half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The former Miami receiver has 17 receptions on 31 targets for 214 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season. He had four receptions on five targets for 48 receiving yards last week in his first game without Justin Jefferson.
This week, he faces the 49ers in an average fantasy football matchup for the wide receiver. San Francisco has given up 26.8 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, around the league average. However, they have surrendered only 117 receiving yards and 20.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the past two weeks.
Fantasy Players should consider Osborn a risky low-end WR3 in Week 7.
Should I Start Alexander Mattison For Fantasy Football?
Mattison is the RB21 for the year, averaging 10.2 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The former Boise State star has 82 rushing attempts for 320 yards and 18 receptions for 104 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season. He has scored 10 or more fantasy points in all but two games this year, including three of the past four contests.
This week, he faces the 49ers in an unfriendly fantasy football matchup for the running back. San Francisco has surrendered 15.7 fantasy points per game to running backs, the 12th-fewest in the NFL. Furthermore, they have held running backs to under 14 fantasy points in all but two games this season.
Fantasy Players should consider Mattison a risky RB2 in Week 7.
Should I Start Jauan Jennings For Fantasy Football?
Jennings is the WR104 for the year, averaging only 3.2 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The former Tennessee receiver has seven receptions on 12 targets for 127 receiving yards this season. He hasn’t been fantasy-relevant this year but should have an increased target share with Samuel out the next few weeks.
This week, he faces the Vikings in an easy fantasy football matchup for the wide receiver. Minnesota has surrendered 34.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the sixth-most in the NFL. However, they gave up only 18.1 fantasy points to the Chicago Bears wide receivers last week, a season-low.
Fantasy Players should consider Jennings a risky flex option in deeper leagues in Week 7.
