Kyle Larson's Accident Wipes Out One Very Fast Car
1 year agoKyle Larson had the best car in the early going at the 4EVER 400. He led a race-high 96 laps but made a mistake on pit road while running 1-2 with Ryan Blaney. Larson did not notice Blaney slowing down until it was too late. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver turned hard to the right and smacked into the sand barriers. That damage was enough to retire the No. 5 car for the day. Larson wound up 34th for the race but is already in the Championship Four. He had a race-winning caliber car on Sunday. Larson might take it easy at Martinsville.
