Justin Carter's DraftKings DFS lineup picks for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Read his daily fantasy NASCAR advice and Truck sleepers.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series heads to Homestead-Miami Speedway on Saturday. The 2023 season is almost over, with this race setting the stage for the season finale next month. Four of the eight remaining playoff drivers will battle for the title there, but first, we've got to figure out who those four will be on Saturday.
Corey Heim has clinched a spot and Carson Hocevar has a 23-point buffer over the cut line, but the other two drivers are anyone's guess. Christian Eckes and Nick Sanchez have the spots right now, but Grant Enfinger and Ben Rhodes are just three and five points back, respectively. Ty Majeski and Zane Smith face tougher odds, but a win by either driver would land them in the Championship 4.

Ty Majeski - $11,000
Starting Fourth
After finishes of 19th and 21st in the first two races of this round, Ty Majeski isn't exactly in a must-win situation, but it's pretty close to that. The good news for Majeski is that he's heading to a race track where he's been really, really good.
After a 10th-place finish in his first visit here back in 2020 when he was driving for Niece Motorsports, Majeski returned here last season and was dominant. He led 67 of the 134 laps in the race, taking the win and locking his way into the Championship 4. He sat seventh in points coming into the race, the exact spot he sits in this season. Could there be some destiny at play here with Majeski?
Ben Rhodes - $9,600
Starting 21st
Majeski led the most laps here last year. His Thorsport teammate, Ben Rhodes, led the second-most, as he was out front for 37 laps before finishing the race in sixth place. It was his best Homestead finish, though he's never finished outside the top 20 here. Back in 2017, Rhodes oed 43 laps but ended up finishing 19th.
This weekend, he rolls off the grid in 21st, making him a really good source of place differential points. Rhodes needs a good run here to make it to the Championship 4. While he's had top 10s in both races in this round, he didn't have the buffer that other drivers had. But with Rhodes running well lately, it's not hard to imagine him competing for a top five on Saturday despite the poor starting spot.
Trevor Bayne - $8,500
Starting 32nd
Trevor Bayne steps into the Rackley WAR No. 25 truck this weekend and is set to make his first Truck Series start since 2020, when he ran eight races for Niece Motorsports.
But he steps into a truck that's got three consecutive top 10 finishes, with Matt DiBenedetto finishing third at Kansas and 10th at Bristol before his tenure with the team came to a close. Chandler Smith stepped in at Talladega and finished fourth.
Bayne brings plenty of Homestead experience, as he ran seven Cup Series races here. Though he struggled in his four starts with the Wood Brothers, he was top 20 in all three starts for Roush Racing. Starting 32nd on Saturday, Bayne's a top place differential option.

Bayley Currey - $7,700
Starting 17th
Bayley Currey's had some good runs this year in the No. 41 Niece Motorsports truck, including a fifth-place finish at Nashville and a 10th at the Milwaukee Mile. While he crashed out last race at Talladega, his overall results in this truck have my hopes high on Saturday.
He also had a pretty good run here in the Xfinity Series last year. Driving the underfunded No. 4 car for JD Motorsports, Currey finished a respectable 13th, gaining 10 spots over where he started the day.
Marco Andretti - $7,500
Starting 27th
Marco Andretti is set to make his second Truck Series start on Saturday. There have been some rumors going around that this is preparation for him to run full-time in the series for Spire next year.
In Andretti's first start, he turned a stellar qualifying lap at Mid-Ohio, putting him seventh on the grid. He wasn't able to maintain that pace though, as he finished 19th.
But with a race of Truck Series experience under his belt, I feel good about Andretti running better this weekend. And even if he doesn't, a 27th-place starting spot means there's a lot of place differential for Andretti in what's been a pretty fast Spire truck.
Jonathan Shafer - $5,200
Starting 33rd
Jonathan Shafer hasn't really done much in his first two Truck Series starts in this No. 30 truck, but he's kept things clean and has finished ahead of where he started both times, so that's something.
At Martinsville back in the spring, Shafer started 33rd and finished 29th. At Nashville, he started 27th and finished 24th. If he can stay out of trouble, he can be a cheap source of some place differential points. His $5,200 salary makes him a really nice value option.
