1 year agoBoston Celtics forward Wenyen Gabriel is getting waived by the team on Friday, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania. The 26-year-old played in 68 games for the Los Angeles Lakers last year in a reserve role, where he saw 15.1 minutes per contest. He was able to average 5.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in that time but never became an important piece to the team's success. The Celtics seemed to see the same issue after he was signed to an Exhibit 10 deal with the team in early October and is now on his way out.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
