1 year agoMiami Heat forward Haywood Highsmith (knee) is expected to miss some time after suffering an injury during Wednesday's preseason contest. Highsmith has been diagnosed with a sprained left MCL. The Heat plan to hold him Highsmith and re-evaluate him in two weeks. This comes at a bad time with Josh Richardson (foot) and Jaime Jaquez Jr. (groin) both banged up. The Heat could be thin at the forward spot heading into the regular season.
