Anthony Richardson's Rookie Season Is Over
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson (shoulder) is set to undergo season-ending shoulder surgery. The talented rookie suffered the shoulder injury in the Week 5 win over the Tennessee Titans and was quickly placed on Injured Reserve. The 21-year-old was only able to play in four games, and he left three contests early. Still, he racked up 577 passing yards, 136 rushing yards, and seven total touchdowns. The No. 4 overall pick showed glimpses of his elite rushing ceiling, which will likely make him a highly drafted fantasy quarterback in 2024. Gardner Minshew, barring an injury, is expected to be to Colts' starter for the remainder of the 2023 campaign.
