1 year agoDetroit Lions running back David Montgomery (ribs) is expected to miss some time with a rib injury, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. The veteran departed the game in the second quarter and did not return. X-rays came back negative. Craig Reynolds primarily picked up the slack after Montgomery left the game. The Lions' backfield is getting decimated. Rookie Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) has missed two straight games with a hamstring injury and Zonovan Knight (shoulder) is on injured reserve. Montgomery has been one of the best running backs in fantasy football this year, despite already missing one game due to an injury.--Andrew Ball - RotoBaller
