Jonathan Taylor Struggles On The Ground In Week 6 Loss
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor was expected to make a bigger splash in his second game of the season, but that was not the case in Week 6, as he accumulated 19 yards on eight carries in Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was able to make up some additional ground in the receiving game, reeling in five catches for 46 yards. The Colts found themselves down early in this matchup against Jacksonville and struggled heavily to get anything going in the run game, as the team rushed for only 44 total yards. Fellow running back Zack Moss remained involved in the backfield, receiving only one less carry than Taylor while also punching in the team's lone rushing touchdown. Taylor and the Colts find themselves in another tough matchup in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns defense. Fantasy managers should temper expectations for Taylor this week, making him a borderline RB2 in most formats.
