Jakobi Meyers Puts Up Another Strong Performance In Win
1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers had five receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown on seven targets in the Week 6 win against the New England Patriots. Meyers put up another great stat line with Jimmy Garoppolo behind center. Meyers continues to be Garoppolo's first option over Davante Adams. Meyers had a good performance against his former team, but he may have a tougher time moving forward. Raiders starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo left the game with a back injury in the second half. It remains to be seen if Garoppolo will miss time, but Meyers' value could drop with a different quarterback. With rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell behind center in Week 4, Meyers caught two passes for 33 yards on four targets. Meyers will face the Chicago Bears in Week 7. The Bears have been an easy matchup for receivers, so Meyers should still find success. Still, fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on the quarterback situation. Meyers has been a great fantasy option this season and he can still be considered a WR2 moving forward.
