The bulk of the Week 6 NFL slate is finally here, meaning it's time for fantasy managers to make tough, last-minute start 'em, sit 'em decisions. Chris Godwin, Curtis Samuel, and Sam LaPorta are all hot names ahead of Sunday's games.
Godwin is coming off a bye week, Samuel has been hit or miss this season, and LaPorta is dealing with an injury. All three are interesting fantasy options this week.
Should you start Godwin, Samuel, or LaPorta in Week 6? Let's dive in.

Should I Start Chris Godwin for Fantasy Football?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense has exceeded expectations this season, meaning Godwin and Mike Evans have continued to be fantasy-relevant wide receivers. Godwin caught 21 passes for 255 yards before heading to a Week 5 bye, but he has yet to reach the end zone.
In a matchup with the Detroit Lions, who have allowed the 13th-most fantasy points to wideouts thus far -- Godwin should be in starting lineups in most leagues.
He is the WR24 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Curtis Samuel for Fantasy Football?
Samuel has been productive over the last two weeks, hauling in 13 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. Coming into the 2023 season, he was viewed as the team's WR3. However, he has outproduced Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson lately.
All that said, he likely won't consistently be ahead of McLaurin in the target pecking order and faces a tough matchup in Week 6. The Atlanta Falcons have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season, making Samuel a shaky flex option.
He is the WR45 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Sam LaPorta for Fantasy Football?
LaPorta is only behind Travis Kelce in total fantasy points among tight ends (all scoring formats). That said, he is a must-start in all matchups when active. The rookie is questionable to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6 with a calf injury, so whether you should start him depends solely on his availability.
He has yet to post a bust performance, but even if his injury limits him, he's worth starting at a scarce position for fantasy football production.
