Week 6 is almost upon us and the further we get into the season, the more important start/sit decisions become. Your choices from here on out can make or break your chances of winning your fantasy league.

A trio of wide receivers find themselves on the start/sit bubble this week. Gabe Davis, according to NBA Jam rules, is on fire. Although, if his touchdown streak ever ends, he could be a potential bust. K.J. Osborn will see increased opportunities due to the absence of Justin Jefferson (hamstring). An injury to Amari Cooper's quarterback will dampen his upside, although he's the most talented receiver on this list.

Should I Start Gabe Davis In Week 6?

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis has scored a touchdown in each of the last four games and sits as the PPR WR14 on the season. It's bound to slow down soon. A 22.22% touchdown rate is not sustainable. The other wideouts who have scored at least four receiving touchdowns on the season have 39, 36, 27, and 25 catches, respectively. Davis has 18 receptions. Only three of his targets have actually come in the red zone.

Yet, it's hard to find a reason to shy away from starting the fourth-year receiver. His opponent, the New York Giants, ranks in the bottom ten for fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers. The Bills are two-touchdown favorites and will have no difficulty scoring against a porous defense. Davis is on the field often (ranks 18th in the league in routes run) so another touchdown opportunity will be in play. He's a better option in non or half-PPR formats but is also a solid WR3 in PPR leagues.

Should I Start K.J. Osborn In Week 6?

We're in uncharted territory in Minnesota. This will be the first game that Justin Jefferson has missed in his pro career, so there's no historical data on how Kirk Cousins and Co. will operate without one of the league's premier receiving options.

Osborn has fended off first-round pick Jordan Addison so far. The 2020 fifth-round pick has played over 90% of the Vikings' offensive snaps this season, compared to 65.8% for Addison. Both will be required to pick up the slack without Jefferson on the field. Over 10 targets per game are up for grabs.

The Chicago Bears allowed the second-most passing yards and third-most points per game. The Vikings throw the ball more than any other team in the league. T.J. Hockenson will likely see increased usage but more opportunities will be there for both Osborn and Addison. The former is a WR3 option, while Addison is in the WR2 range.

Should I Start Amari Cooper In Week 6?

Quarterback Deshaun Watson was a surprise scratch before Week 4 with a shoulder issue. Rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson got the nod as QB1 and Amari Cooper caught just one of his six targets for 16 yards. Watson will be on the sidelines once again in Week 6 and could miss even more time.

It will now be P.J. Walker's turn to start. In five starts for Carolina in 2022, Walker topped 200 passing yards just once. Cooper will be hard to trust with mediocre quarterback play. It doesn't help that the Browns welcome the 49ers' defense into town. That unit just shut down Dallas on the national stage on Sunday Night Football. Both of the other receivers in this article offer more upside than Cooper.
