Matthew Stafford OVER 2.5 Rushing Yards
QB Matthew Stafford has been impressive through the air for the 2-3 Rams so far this season, but it’s his rushing prop that is showing the most value on Sunday.
Stafford has hit this over in four of five games, the lone miss being last week against the Eagles (the third toughest rushing matchup according to PFF). This week Stafford faces the Cardinals, PFF’s number one easiest rushing matchup. Arizona has given up 7 or more rushing yards to four different quarterbacks so far this year.
The RotoBaller Proptimizer tool shows props for each game on the slate and the relative edge they bring based on projections. The Proptimizer outlines a 38% edge on Stafford hitting over 2.5 rushing yards this week based on a Sharp App projected line of 6.7 rushing yards, the highest edge for any prop in this game.
C.J. Uzomah OVER 6.5 Receiving Yards
Jets TE C.J. Uzomah has an intriguing spot on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, who will be without S Justin Evans and CB Darius Slay. Uzomah has been showing more rapport with QB Zach Wilson in recent weeks, totaling 7 or more receiving yards in two of his last three games after starting the season with two catchless weeks.
Rotoballer's Proptimizer tool gives this over a 34% edge as the Sharp App projected line sits at 14.5 receiving yards. In a trailing game script against a strong defense missing key players in the secondary, there should be plenty of opportunities down the middle for Uzomah.
Chase McLaughlin OVER 5.5 Kicking Points
Buccaneers K Chase McLaughlin has hit 9 or more points in three of his four games, including averaging 1.8 field goals made and 1.8 extra points made per game this season. The Buccs have a 19.5 implied point total in a Week 6 home matchup with the Detroit Lions, the third-highest-scoring team in the NFL. That makes McLaughlin’s over an easy pick this week.
