Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid was a hot prospect heading into the 2023 NFL Draft and was eventually selected 25th overall. Since he was set to play with Josh Allen, he immediately carried fantasy football intrigue into his rookie season.
However, he's been underwhelming through his first five games and is in the injury headlines heading into Week 6.
Will Kincaid play against the New York Giants in Week 6? What's his fantasy outlook if he can play? Let's dive in.

Dalton Kincaid Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Kincaid is now in the league's concussion protocol and his status for their Week 6 game will be monitored. Head coach Sean McDermott said that they will see how the week goes for the rookie and fellow tight end Dawson Knox (wrist).
Kincaid hasn't been very relevant in any fantasy format despite the Bills offense putting up some pretty big numbers so far this season. If Kincaid and Knox both can't give it a go, the next, healthy, tight end on the depth chart is Quintin Morris. Fantasy managers will want to stay tuned for more updates throughout the week.
Dalton Kincaid Fantasy Football Outlook
Kincaid has just 17 catches on 19 targets for 118 yards and zero touchdowns heading into Week 6. That said, he's not on the fantasy radar, even against the dreadful New York Giants defense.
In redraft leagues, Kincaid is droppable. The rookie has played around 52% of the team's offensive snaps over the last three weeks -- down from 80% in Week 1. It's easy to get optimistic about rookies, but this Buffalo offense is still all about Stefon Diggs and a little bit about Gabe Davis.
There aren't as many targets up for grabs as many had hoped, so it's time to play the weekly streaming game at tight end rather than rolling Kincaid out in starting lineups -- just to disappoint. He could emerge later in the season, but for now, there's little sense in rostering him.
