Ryan Goins Retires From Baseball
1 year agoFree-agent infielder Ryan Goins has announced his retirement from professional baseball on Tuesday. The 35-year-old hasn't played in the big leagues since the 2020 campaign. He completely sat out the 2023 season, but played in the minor leagues with the Atlanta Braves during the 2021 and 2022 campaigns. During his career, Goins slashed .228/.278/.333 with 22 homers, 158 RBI and six stolen bases over eight seasons in the big leagues. During his career, Goins played with the Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago White Sox, and Kansas City Royals. Best of luck to him on whatever he decides to do after baseball.
