1 year agoPittsburgh Penguins left wing Jake Guentzel (ankle) is a game-time decision for Tuesday's season opener versus Chicago. On Monday, Guentzel logged his second full practice with the team following ankle surgery, and he appears to be trending toward playing. The Penguins have named him in their opening night roster, which strongly signals that Guentzel is good to go. He wasn't expected to miss many games anyhow, but this is still great news for Pittsburgh.
