Josh Jacobs Puts Up Strong Performance In Win
1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs followed up his best game of the season with 69 rushing yards and a touchdown in the Week 5 win against the Green Bay Packers. Jacobs had his longest run of the season in this contest, breaking off a 24-yard run in the third quarter before scoring in the fourth. The Raiders' offensive line issues are still relevant, but Jacobs is talented enough to make the most of a bad situation. Garoppolo targeted Jacobs five times for five receptions and 20 yards. Jacobs was ranked among the best options at running backs for fantasy and seemed like a disappointment in the first half but was able to salvage his day in the second half. The Raiders take on the New England Patriots in Week 6. The Patriots are not the same elite defense they have for several years. Fantasy managers should feel confident starting Jacobs as a low-end RB1 in their lineups moving forward.
