1 year agoDespite starting in the 36th spot in Sunday's Bank of America Roval 400, Kyle Larson worked his way through the field and finished 13th. This strong finish proved critical for the 2021 Cup champion, as it was good enough to get him to the Round of 8. While there were times throughout the race that he was below the cutoff line, the No. 5 team remained focused and disciplined, which helped carry them to the third round for the second time in three years. When the Round of 8 begins next weekend at Las Vegas, Larson will be seeded in the fourth position, just three points above the cutoff line, leaving little room for error over the next three races.--Adam Erhardt - RotoBaller
